Background

As the CSC Coordinator, she’s the organized, thoughtful “keeper of the calendar” who keeps everything (and everyone) on track. She’s been working in sexual risk avoidance programs since 2007 and has a genuine heart for speaking truth to youth with a positive, encouraging attitude. Born and raised in the Pittsburgh area, she now works remotely, juggling grant reporting, school scheduling, and classroom communication with care. Happily married for 45 years, she and her husband are active in their local church and community—and she’s grateful to be part of a program making a meaningful difference in students’ lives.

Why?

After years in this space, she’s seen the real-life impact both the consequences of poor decisions and the transformation that happens when students are given truth, encouragement, and direction early on. That perspective has kept her committed, knowing that her work behind the scenes helps create opportunities for students to hear messages that can shape their future. For Tammy, it’s not just about managing details, it's about being part of something that helps young people build healthier relationships, stronger character, and a more stable path forward.
