Background

Dustin Speaks has invested his life to mentoring and developing students through coaching, teaching and public speaking. He focuses on helping students make better short term decisions through an emphasis on considering their future desires and long term goals. Aside from his time spent working with students in Columbus, Dustin has also mentored youth and young adults in Germany, South Dakota and Chicago. He has been married for over 15 years and has 3 school-aged children that enjoy animals, music and sports.

Why?

During years of work with college students and young adults, Dustin has seen many of the challenges that people face due to poor decision-making and lifestyle patterns developed during their teenage years. Instead of continuing to address the symptoms, Dustin has made his aim to help students improve their decision-making and thought patterns before problems arise. With a focus on the future, Dustin's hope is to help students consider their goals and the legacies that they hope to leave for future generations, so that they can begin living their lives now with their futures in mind.
